Marriage Rally
After eight years, we finally have the assurance that the
Marriage Amendment will be voted on in our
Legislature. Passage of the Marriage Amendment in
the Legislature will mean that the people of North
Carolina will finally be given the opportunity to express
their feelings about marriage. We believe the people of
North Carolina will confirm what the Scriptures already
teach, that marriage is the union of one man and one
woman.
We
must show our support to those in our Legislature who are
willing to move the Marriage Amendment forward.
Equality of North Carolina, a pro-homosexual group, is
receiving funds from outside our state to prevent the
Marriage Amendment from becoming a reality. This is
an opportune time for those who support traditional
marriage to let their voices be heard! We are asking
people from across our state to take a day of vacation and
bring as many people as possible to Raleigh, NC on May
17, 2011 at 10:30 am. We will meet at Halifax Mall
located directly behind the Legislative Building. Dr
David Gibbs Jr. will be our key note speaker. In previous
Return America Marriage Rallies thousands have come to
Raleigh and expressed their support for Biblical
Marriage. This will be the most important Rally yet since
so much is at stake. We are asking pastors to bring their
congregations and schools to bring their students and fill
Halifax Mall. We are also asking every individual who
believes in traditional Biblical marriage to make May 17th
a priority day. The future of our children and grand
children may be determined by the outcome of this Rally.
With the assurances we have received in Raleigh, we must
show our support in vast numbers on this once in a
lifetime occasion. |

Same-Sex Adoption in
North Carolina Voided
North Carolina State Senator Julia Boseman, the first
openly gay member of the General Assembly, sought in court
to adopt her former domestic partner's biological son.
Her partner sued to negate the adoption after the couple
separated. Associate Justice Paul Newby wrote that the
adoption never occurred in the eyes of the law because
lawmakers have asserted that a biological parent must
terminate a legal relationship with the child. Several
Christian groups filed briefs arguing that the adoption
was illegal. |

Historical Baptist Biblical
Position Reputiated
Wake Forest Baptist Church, located on the campus of Wake
Forest University, has repudiated the historical doctrinal
statement of the Baptist which states in part; "Marriage
is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant
commitment for a lifetime. It is God's unique gift to
reveal the union between Christ and His church and to
provide for the man and the woman in marriage the
framework for intimate companionship, the channel of
sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the
means for procreation of the human race."
The Winston Salem Journal reports that; "The Rev. Angela
Yarber, the new minister for preaching and worship at Wake
Forest Baptist Church leads a progressive, liberal church."
Yarber, who is 29, is an open lesbian. After
consultation, the Wake Forest Baptist search committee and
members voted overwhelmingly to invite Yarber as their
minister. The church voted unanimously to leave the
Southern Baptist Convention in 1999. The church is now
identified with The Alliance of Baptists, a traditionally
liberal association of Baptist Churches. Lesbian Yarber
recently stated in reference to the church's early history
where students were required to go to church that
"Culturally, the world was a different place" and that
she is glad that the requirement was dropped, "because
faith should never be required." |

Some Observations
From This Editor
Although it is crystal clear that the Bible is not
important to lesbian Yarber, the truth of Scriptures still
supersedes her perverted belief system. We are reminded
of II Timothy 3:7, "Ever learning, and never able to
come to the knowledge of the truth." One
qualification established in Scripture pertaining to the
office of Pastor is; "A bishop then must be blameless,
the husband of one wife." (I Timothy 3:2a) She is
disqualified! Second, "One that ruleth well his own
house, having his children in subjection with all
gravity." (I Timothy 3:4) In her household a
"she" must rule. She is disqualified again! The
children of the pastor must be in subjection. The Bible
concludes that the Pastor and his wife would
produce children. This is a task that lesbian Yarber
could not perform. She is disqualified again! The Bible
is clear that marriage recognized by God is between one
man and one woman. "And said, For this cause shall a
man leave father and mother and shall cleave to his wife:
and they twin shall be one flesh". (Matthew 19:5)
She is disqualified again! Under the Inspiration of the
Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul was given an illustration of
the relationship between Christ and His church; "For
the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the
head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body."
(Ephesians 5:23) Lesbian Yarber's relationship profanes
the sacred institution of both the church and marriage.
She is disqualified again! The Scriptures vehemently
condemns her perverse and sinful lifestyle! In
describing the sinful past homosexual lifestyle of the
believer at Corinth the Scriptures state; "And such
were some of you". (I Cor; 6:11) Conversion had
turned them from homosexuality to embrace the Biblical
truth of one man, one woman marriage. Again, according to
Scriptures, lesbian Yarber has gone after "strange
flesh." (Jude 1:7) She has defiled herself with
mankind. (I Timothy 1:10) Lesbian Yarber has changed the
natural use into that which is against nature. (Romans
1:26) However the most serious offense that Lesbian
Yarber faces is the pointed fact that she has "changed
the truth of God into a lie." (Romans 1:25) It is
impossible for Lesbian Yarber to lead any congregation
into truth since she chose not to "Retain God in their
"her" knowledge". (Romans 1:28)
The situation at Wake Forest Baptist Church is becoming
too often repeated in America. The tragic situation that
exists is not only the problem in the pulpit, but the
problem in the pew. ( II Timothy 4:3) "For the time
will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but
after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves
teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away
their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto
fables." (II Timothy 4:4)
Lesbian Yarber and her congregation will use other
scriptures to try to justify their position. They will
say that others who take a literal Biblical approach are
not loving and caring and that the Bible does not condemn
their lifestyle. However, they would do the community a
favor if they would remove the words, "Baptist" and
"Church" from their apostate group. The truth is they
represent neither historical Baptist nor the Church for
whom Christ died that sinners might be justified from
such rank perversion of fallacy.
