Marriage- The Sacred Institution
Return America has been responsible on two occasions for bringing
thousands to Raleigh in support of the Marriage Amendment.
Needless to say, the democratic controlled Legislature looked
the other way and refused to do the will of the people. They
responded to their constituents that sufficient laws had
already been activated and that North Carolina was
sufficiently protected. However, other states witnessed that
one liberal judge with the stroke of his liberal pen may
repeal such laws. A Marriage Amendment to the State
Constitution basically places the Amendment outside the reach
of a judge not in sympathy with Biblical marriage. Since
marriage is the bed rock of civilization there cannot be laws
to stringently activate to assure its protection.
The latest poll by the Civitas Institute indicates that nearly
two-thirds of North Carolinians favor a Marriage Amendment.
We are hopeful that the change in our Legislature will place
the Marriage Amendment on the ballot in the near future. We
encourage you to contact your representatives and encourage
them to support the Marriage Amendment.
North Carolina is the only state south of Washington, D.C. and
east of New Mexico without such an amendment. North Carolina
needs to join thirty other states in our nation defining
marriage as the union of one man and one woman.
Occasionally, those supporting "same-sex marriage" will state
that "Jesus never mentioned same sex marriage". I would like
to respond with two answers among many. First of all, how do
we know He never mentioned "same-sex marriage"? All the
truths Jesus taught are not recorded in Scripture. "And
there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which,
if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the
world itself could not contain the books that should be
written. Amen." (John 21:25) Among those volumes
of books which were not written Jesus certainly could have
addressed the issue. Beyond that, the work of the Trinity was
involved in giving us the Sacred Scriptures. The Inspired
Bible written by the Living Word very emphatically condemns
"same sex marriage". To disagree with that statement is to
"wrest as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own
destruction" (II Peter 3:16) and to turn "the grace of
our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God,
and our Lord Jesus Christ." (Jude 4) Second, Jesus
taught us the definition of marriage therefore He did not have
to address "same-sex marriage". "For this cause shall a
man (male) leave father (male) and mother (female) and shall
cleave to his wife: (female) and they twain (male-female)
shall be one flesh." It doesn't take a rocket scientist
to figure out from this Scripture that the definition of
Biblical marriage is the union of one man and one woman. The
Scriptures are powerfully and abundantly clear that any other
union is to go after "strange flesh" (Jude 7) which God
calls an "abomination". (Leviticus 18:22)
We realize that apostate religious movements are elevating
homosexuals into leadership roles. (See next article) The
"Metropolitan Community Church" consists of a group of
so-called like-minded churches whose membership is permeated
with homosexuals and whose leaders are usually homosexual.
Mainline denominations are now elevating homosexuals into
their hierarchy and endorsing "same-sex" marriage.
Our Congress has now repealed "Don't Ask, Don't Tell". If the
Bible was a revered Book in America as it once was, there
would be such fear among the populace that national days of
prayer and fasting would be called to avert the impending
judgment of God. The twin cities of Sodom and
Gomorrah (Genesis 19) were destroyed because of such
perversion and God ushered in an "urban renewal program" as
the consequences of their unnatural affection. The approval
of many religious bodies does not constitute a quorum to
override the Authority of God's Eternal Preserved Word! The
entire excuse making among the Theologs hasn't thrown Heaven
into a panic. God will have the last Word when every knee
bows and proclaims Him King of Kings and Lord of Lords at
which time all excuse making will end and Gods Truth will be
acknowledged, much to the disgust of those who held the Word
of God in contempt. |

Gay Man Elected Head of
North Carolina Christian Churches
The North Carolina Council of Churches, which consists of
mainline Protestant groups and Roman Catholic dioceses in
North Carolina has elected a gay man as its president. Stan
Kimer, a lay leader in the Metropolitan Community Church
stated, that "people are increasingly able to look beyond
someone being gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender. One of
his goals is to get young people interested in inter-church
activism." We understand his philosophy! "But he that is
spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no
man." (I Corinthians 2:15) We are able to discern his
intent and motivation. Since they cannot produce they must
recruit young people to their perverted, warped agenda. One
cannot think of anything more nauseating, debased, lewd and
immoral than recruiting precious young people into such
shameful conduct.
