Excuse
me, is This America?
In his
short address at Gettysburg President Abraham Lincoln
said: "That this nation, under God, shall have a
new birth of freedom -- and that government of the
people, by the people, for the people, shall not
perish from the earth." One wonders what
President Lincoln would think about representative
government today. The will of the people has been
discarded and the agenda of socialism has been
enthroned. The system set in place by patriots who
sought representative government has been severely
abused and public opinion has been trampled upon.
Never in the history of this republic has so much been
done to reverse the course of our history and abuse
the Constitution it was founded upon. Scheming behind
closed doors, a one party system through its
distortions has conveniently looked into the eyes of
the American people and been dishonest. Nothing in
the history of this nation comes close to the lying,
scheming and manipulation of this present
administration. The corruption of this government in
vote buying in Nebraska and Louisiana is probably just
the tip of the iceberg. We wonder what kinds of
bribes were offered in backroom deals to buy off other
senators, congressmen and even entire states!
Probably the most disappointing aspect of the corrupt
process is the inability of our representatives to
represent us. A clear majority of the people of this
country went on record rejecting the Health Care
Reform Bill yet; the bill was railroaded through the
House and Senate with no consideration of the people
they represented. My friends, that kind of misconduct
is nothing less than totalitarian dictatorship!
Congress has overridden the will of the people and
should be sent home and given an honest job! Thomas
Jefferson foresaw the potential of this day when he
said: "I believe the states can best govern our
home concerns, and the general {federal} government
our foreign ones. I wish, therefore...never to see
all offices transferred to Washington, where, further
withdrawn from the eyes of the people, they may more
secretly be bought and sold as at market." By
large, 64% of Americans believe that government is too
large and 55% believe big government to be the biggest
threat to the future of this country. |

Don't Mess With The
Apple of God's Eye
Zechariah 2:8
It has
been reported that the Prime Minister of Israel received
a cool reception in Washington. Although we are not
surprised, given the movement of the present
administration, we are somewhat shocked at the arrogance
they continually display.
One's ignorance of history could be very costly,
especially, pertaining to the nation of Israel. Israel
has historical significance. They spent 400 years in
Egypt, 70 years in Babylon and have been scattered
throughout the world for over 2000 years. Yet like no
other nation, they have survived. While other nations
have ceased to exist, Israel although scattered and
severely persecuted like no other nation, has once again
become a great nation.
Israel also has prophetic significance. Israel is the
prophetic capitol of the world. If we want to know the
time on God's clock or the date of His calendar, we look
at Israel. The truth is, God owns the land, has set the
boundaries, and has chosen Jerusalem to be the focal
point of His plan. God has decreed in His Word that
Israel
will
disappear when the sun, moon and stars no longer
shine. Although this administration wants to give
Jerusalem away, it is not in their power to do so. The
Bible is clear. Jerusalem plays a significant,
prophetic role in the future. In the war of 1967
Israel was outnumbered 80 to 1. They were outnumbered
in soldiers, arms and vehicles. Israel welded boiler
plates on the sides of school buses and constructed
tanks. They fired fire crackers to make it seem the
battle was larger than anticipated. When the war ended,
Israel had three times the land mass they had before the
war began. The battle was fixed. God fought for them!
There is a Biblical promise to those nations who support
Israel. There is also a curse for those who choose not
to lend their support. (Genesis 12) We must
pray that our leadership will be a friend of Israel and
not a foe lest we be found to fight against God.
"Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God."

Return America in Davidson County
Return
America has established an at large board in
Davidson County. We believe this to be the first of
many Return America Boards to be set up across our
state. We are honored to be in partnership with
the Return America At Large Board of Davidson County
and look forward to working with them in bringing
about change.
Return
America is actively working in Davidson County.
Questionnaires have been sent to all political
candidates to determine where they stand on the
issues. The results will be tabulated and sent to
the churches and interested individuals in the
county to better prepare them for the primaries.
The results will also be placed in a local newspaper
to inform the readers of their choices. Return
America will also be holding a large political rally
before the primaries to share the results of the
questionnaires and help assure that good moral
candidates who uphold Judeo-Christian values are
chosen to represent the people.

Lest We Forget!
Dear
readers, it is of the utmost importance that you
remember what is currently taking place in our
government. You will have the opportunity to bring
about change if you don't forget. Those who oppose
our standards and convictions are hoping that the
populace will forget what is now taking place in
America. We must not forget to remember! The future
of our nation depends on the next elections. God
fearing American people must report for duty at the
polls and determine that replacements need to be found
for many. Hopefully, they can find employment where
back rooms are only used for honest people and not
false deal makers who under the cover of darkness sell
America out to the highest bidder.
